The history of the practice dates back to 1974. At that time, Dr. Gary Liberman was in practice with Dr. Kenton Kerr and assumed the practices of Dr. Seymour Marcuse and Dr. Edward Giant when these respected optometrists retired from active practice. Dr. Kerr retired in 1986. Dr. Shirley Jin joined the practice in 1986 and became partner in 1987. They assumed the practice of Dr. Robert Benn when he retired in 1988. Dr. Jin retired in 1998.

​Dr. Patricia Ebright joined the practice in 1994, became partner in 2003 and is now the sole owner.

Since 1974, the practice has moved four times. The last move was in 1992 to the current location, a practice on the second floor of a medical building with a gorgeous view of Solano. We look forward to meeting you.
